Materials and other details:

  • Yarn: Worsted weight wool yarn. For airy texture you can also use fingering weight summer yarn or mohair yarn.
  • Yardage for MC:
    Long sleeves & tight cuffs: 550 (700, 770) m / 602 (766, 842) yds
    3/4 sleeves & wide cuffs: 450 (630, 700) m / 492 (689, 766) yds
    Short sleeves: 420 (570, 650) m / 460 (624, 711) yds
  • Yardage for CC: 80 m / 88 yds
  • Gauge: 14 sts x 20 rows = 10 cm 4“, with main needle in stockinette stitch after wet blocking. If you can not get vertical gauge (rows), you can adjust body and sleeve length.
  • Needles: 6 mm / US 10 circular needle as main needle. 5 mm / US 8 needle for rib. Adjust needle size if necessary to get gauge.
  • Notions: 4 stitch markers (I recommend to use a different color marker for end of round and shoulder), tapestry needle, waste yarn.
